Life In Shambles

I know most of us have lived in a world of mess at some point. Where everything seems disoriented and nothing makes sense. This is one of the hardest blow in life. Some people even resorted to drug abuse, depression and anxiety, and worse? commit suicide. How could we handle this? How can we survive such ordeal?

A hurting person needs a helping hand not an accusing finger…

*I don’t own this image

There is a thin line between giving up and fighting back. It lies with how a person sees himself/herself in the inside. Another factor is the treatment of people around. Most often than not, people close to us like our relatives and friends tend to blame or condemn us for what we’re going through instead of understanding us or making us feel we’re not alone. Such notions add insult to injury and could make our situations worse.

I used to believe that blood is thicker than water,
but reality proves that oftentimes our relatives are the ones who back fights us.

If you weep, you weep alone. But if you laugh, the whole world laughs with you. That is an undeniable fact. Challenges and trials are always there as long as we live, no matter how great or small. Don’t be too harsh on yourself. And besides, a life which is not put to the test is weak and flimsy.

Unfuckwithable

So next time you feel like all forces of the universe is conspiring to bring you down, face it bravely. If you have faith, you are never really alone. People may desert you, but God won’t.

My Monthly Memories: February 2K16

Two days before February ends, time fleets so fast! This month have been great for my blog. I’ve written articles almost everyday and its therapeutic effect did a great help in managing stress and dealing with everyday pressures.

my-monthly-memories

By the way, I am so excited to partake with this blogging event called My Monthly Memories created by this pretty blogger, Basant She. Thank you dear! I really love the idea of writing about monthly memories, honestly. All the articles I’ve written is very important to me. I have the habit of reading each one of them over and over again whenever there’s opportunity.

‘I love those random memories that make me smile no matter what is going on in my life right now…’

My blog this month turned into a new leaf, after I did a million tweaks with various themes to compliment it, I decided to try the Crafty Theme and I also changed the header image to convey what this blog is all about. Well, I think I’ve made its interface more appealing this time. I intend to stick with writing posts about living life to the fullest but since it is broad, it’s really hard to keep up. So starting next month I will try my best to be more versatile. Last month, I said that I’ll take it easy with this blog, but because of the overwhelming responses that I am receiving from my readers and fellow bloggers, I can’t help but pressure myself sometimes to write posts with more substance. Seeing more likes and reading more comments inspire me to do more, share more, and be grateful for all  the blessings.  Continue reading “My Monthly Memories: February 2K16”

Tokens of Gratitude: Thank GOD

thanks

Last week, I made a commitment that I will make a weekly journal of thanksgiving, so here’s my first article. There’s so much to be thankful for in this life. For me, the first and foremost that is worthy of our gratefulness would be the creator, our Almighty God – the God of the Bible. Kindly read this article written by Mr. Controversy: Forever Offering Thanksgiving. The author clearly discussed everything about giving thanks to the Lord in every circumstances.

I will be forever thankful to our Almighty God for the highest calling. Being affiliated with Members Church of God International or MCGI for about more than four years is the greatest gift I received from God. Knowing the real God, the God of the Bible made a significant change with the way I look at life and with the way I deal with others. From being a worldly person, I became more aware that while taking care of our physical body is essential, spiritual aspect is way more important. Reading, hearing, and meditating the words of God in the Bible became a part of my everyday life and I’m in love with it! The wisdom bestowed by God is the most overwhelming experience and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else in this world.

I would like to share this YouTube video, I hope you too would be inspired by this song. It acknowledges the loving kindness of the Lord and how He touches our lives.

Let me also end this article with the song below. Thank God for all of you reading this post and hope you can relate and reflect.

Until next week of this ‘Tokens of Gratitude’ feature. Best wishes!

I’m Sure You Would

Don’t love me for fun boy, love me for a reason and let the reason be LOVE!

erhynireh

Is there such a thing as love at first sight? Have you encountered someone who is a total stranger to you but felt like you’re comfortable and secure with him as if you’ve known him since time immemorial? You just met that person but boom! In the spur of the moment you want to live the rest of your life with him. You might even think that maybe you’re crazy by following your heart but you don’t mind. You’re more than willing to take all the risks and you do believe that the kind of feelings you both have with each other could withstand the test of time.

couple

Not all people experienced this mind-boggling, heart-pounding, inexplicable feeling. So if you’re one of them, I can certainly say that you’ve felt one of the greatest feeling a person could have in this world – indescribable and genuinely ecstatic.

Weekly Quotes To Ponder 5

“Let us cross the bridge when we get there…”

These are the words that I usually tell myself when I have to resolve a difficult situation.

You might think that I am an easy-go-lucky person or you might say that I don’t deal with problems seriously. It may seem like that…

I may be hopeless most of the time but I have high hopes. I do have some fears and I tend to worry at times, but my faith in God is more than enough antidote for stress. It’s what really helped me survive.

trust

I’ve kept these words at the tablet of my heart and meditate on them when faced with difficulties and I always find solace. Furthermore, I’ve learned not to dwell in the past hurts, make the most of the happy things in the present, and look forward positively in the future. And the outcome is great! Take my word for that. He answers prayers in three ways: Yes, and gives you what you want; No, and gives you something better; Wait, and gives you want you want in its own time. Though oftentimes we don’t understand what’s happening in our lives, we just have to put our trust in Him because He will never fail us.

How about you? What do you usually do when faced with life’s troubles? I would really appreciate it if you would share your thoughts.

Tokens of Gratitude : Introduction

It’s been about almost two months now that I’ve been contemplating to write a feature article in my blog about how thankful I am with what’s happening in my life, be it good or bad, happy or sad, even trials and adversaries. I do believe that what ever we encounter in this life there’s always good that would come out of it. Even waking up in the morning is more than enough reason to be grateful because it means that God is giving us another chance to be with the people that matters to us and to do the things that would make us happy.

According to an article, Why Gratitude Is Good there are a lot of benefits that we can get from living a life full of gratitude:

  1. Allows us to celebrate the present
  2. Blocks toxic, negative emotions
  3. Grateful people are more stress-resistant
  4. Grateful people has a higher sense of self-worth

This coming Saturday, and every week thereafter I would post an article about the things that I am grateful for. It will be my journal of thanksgiving. What do you think about this idea, wonderful people of the internet? I would really appreciate it if you would leave a comment or suggestion. Thank you in advance!

Weekly Quotes To Ponder 4

Cheers for the fourth installment of our ‘Weekly Quotes To Ponder’. Today, I also celebrate my fourth birth day in spirit. I’ve been baptized and been affiliated with MCGI (Members Church of God International) since 2012. It was the greatest and the most wonderful gift I received in my whole life, ever! I can’t thank God enough for the highest calling.

I am a kind of person who always welcome positive thoughts even in the midst of unpleasant situations. I may be helpless most of the time but I have high hopes.

When we are bombarded by a lot of life’s troubles. We are presented with two options: Either we break down or we break through. Whatever choice we make will determine the outcome of our struggle.

The measure of our happiness or misery
depends upon our dispositions, and
not upon our circumstances…

#LoIsInDaBl Day 1 – True Self Love

meeh.jpg I am a very transparent person. What you see is what you get but it doesn’t mean that I cannot be mysterious.

If I am sad, mad, surprised, confused, happy, excited, you can easily see it in the expressions of my face. I am not really good at pretending how I feel at a present or certain moment. I can just burst into tears or anger or laugh at the top of my lungs. I don’t know, I just can’t help it.

Others find me easy to get along with but there are also people who don’t want me. People who doesn’t approve of the way I carry myself in front of others. But that’s fine, we cannot please every body, right?

Do not chase people.
Be you and do your
own thing and work
hard. The right
people who belong in
your life will come to
you, and stay.
