A stare that’s rude, daunting
Weary souls, its haunting
Blackest of blacks I’ve seen

I’d hate myself if I miss doing a Three-liner this week. Having said this, here’s my take. Hopefully, you’d enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing a brief tale out of amazing photo prompts. This is hosted by a wonderful blogger, Sonya of Only 100 Words. Kindly join us, for details please click here.

Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Weekly Writing Prompt: Fragment

Fragment.jpg

Broken promises, shattered dreams
Heart and mind torn into pieces
Fragments of our shared memories
Cracks all around, everything’s in a mess
Through it all, I shine the brightest.

I have yet to find my muse this week but I still decided to force myself in writing at least. Thank God, I checked my inbox and found this ‘Weekly Writing Prompt Challenge‘ from a friend blogger, Kiwinana of Ramblings of a Writer.

Here’s my take, hopefully, you enjoy reading it. I would be delighted to read your thoughts or comments! Good Monday, everyone!

Five hours, forty-eight minutes
I’ve waited at the spot we first met
Fading image of you, my eyes wet

TANKA: Forbidden

We bump into each other
As if we’re total strangers
When no one’s around
Even seconds we would steal
Burn with passion, love unveiled.

***TANKA Poem is very similar to Haiku but it has more syllables and it uses simile, metaphor, and personification. There are five lines in a Tanka.

He won’t just admit, felt sick about it
He walked every path, skipped no street
To find he’s blinded by the sign he need not seek.

Words knows how to disguise, add color and spice
Telltale the deepest recesses of one’s heart
Yet my hands freezing, can’t make up my mind.
