She is a nocturnal person. She prefers to do things in the middle of the night when the world is fast asleep. While it is true that she hates distractions, she is also fond of hearing the sound of silence – the snore, the creek in the bed, and even someone who talk while sleeping. Odd isn’t it? But that’s the way she is.
He seldom had a sound sleep, he could hardly bring himself to sleep, to begin with. And when he does, he can wake up so easily even with the sound of one’s breath beside him. This is also odd, at least with her opinion.
Imagine what would happen when these two individuals live in one roof, sharing one bed. Miss insomniac would definitely have a hard time to move a muscle if she wants him to enjoy the luxury of good night sleep. And yet, she was able to do that for more than twelve years because of that thing called love.
In love, the sky is the limit. It is not only a feeling, but it is also actually more of a decision. When one is willing to give way and give up his/her own comfort for the sake of others without expecting anything in return. When one is contented and happy to see his/her significant other living a good life, having good health, and wearing a smile every day. Unrequited love surely hurts like hell, yet one could still feel happy with it. We couldn’t force someone to love us in return no matter how big our sacrifices are. We could only hope that they’d let us show how much we care. While we cannot control others feelings toward us, we can control how we react with their actions. We always have the power to choose our own attitude towards other people. At the end of the day, random acts of kindness, no matter how small radiates positivity in all directions.
Here’s hoping to share my thoughts with you all. This is inspired by Monday Morning Melts hosted by fellow bloggers, Jade, and Rosema for this week’s ‘Song Prompt’ entitled, As Long As You Love Me. This song had me dance while watching. There you go!
Hi there people! Literally, I am hooked up with watching Anime’s these past few days that I find it hard to devote an ample time to write in my blog. Another thing is, I don’t really want to write for the sake of writing because for me, I wouldn’t be able to offer you something with more substance and I don’t want that.
Since we’re talking about Anime, I would like to share a few quotes from the most recent show that I’ve watched in YouTube – Death Note. This would also be an attempt to share my thoughts about the story as a whole – something like a review, but not exactly (I am not into reviews, actually). I just can’t help but say something about this amazing and mind-boggling show.
Death note is not your typical anime series. Its storyline is brilliant and somewhat unique in a sense that it presents the viewers a highly debatable theme about morals and justice. The concept itself is interesting, the main characters are amazing – Light Yagami and L. The battle of two geniuses and the cat and mouse chase scenes would leave you dropping your jaw and twisting your minds.
If you want to be entertained in your free time, and you’re into anime thingy, I highly recommend you watch this show. I’m certain it’s worth a try.
Monday Morning Melts is here again! I’m glad I can catch up. I feel sorry not to be able to partake last week. Anyhow, today’s ‘Song Prompt’ would be Jason Mraz – In Your Hands. This is actually the first time that I’ve heard this song and I could say that the lyrics is great and it’s beat is soothing to the ear. Perfect for moments of silence and meditating.
Here’s my take, hope you’ll like it:
Never would I deceive myself
Though my love for you can’t be helped
Can’t afford to live a lie
Faking others that you are mine
I could give you all I have
Everything, so don’t ever doubt
But know you can still be free
If you don’t want to stay you can flee
Keep me ’cause you love me
Reasons other than that, won’t suffice…
I always say that I welcome change, but the truth is… I dreaded it. I tend to live with my comfort zone and go with the flow as long as I can see that everything’s in place. I always hated complications. I want things to be plain and simple and I don’t see anything wrong about it. I can just brush away any disagreements and move on even if it means giving in, giving up my pride. For me, life is more precious to be wasted with quarrels, resentments, and bitterness.
It’s been about one year, four months, and twenty-six days since I quit my job as a Technical Support Representative to be a stay-at-home mother. Ever since my partner left to work overseas, I am left with no other choice – we can’t find a suitable Nanny for my then one-year-old son not to mention taking care of my other three children. Being a working mom for almost ten years made my life worth living. I was able to provide my family a decent home, regular meal, and perks like buying not only what their needs but also their wants. Aside from that, I am not good in housekeeping. My partner took care of household chores and our children before. All I do is work, sleep, and eat. But hey, I worked pretty hard, as in, thirteen hours a day, six days a week to be able to make both ends meet. These things made it hard for me to adjust and until now, it is still more than a struggle and yet I have to face change no matter what not only for me but more for the sake of my children. I may have lost something very important to me but I also learned so much and became closer to my children. I’ve never been this happy in my life – to be able to stay with them most of the time, to attend to their needs and to bond with them more often. It is indeed priceless. I can’t thank God enough!
How about you? Do you fear change or welcome it with open arms, embrace it and look forward positively? I would be delighted if you’d share your thoughts about this. Have a nice day!
I’ve never felt this way before
A smile that makes my heart explode
Stare that touches my very soul
Kisses that takes me to places unexplored
A total stranger
Swept me off my very feet
Caught me off guard
Never thought I’d fall so hard
That burning desire
I couldn’t quench in all my might
Ever since that starry night
Thoughts of you never left my sight
Oh helpless me!
And yet I’ve never felt this happy
Take me now, all of me
You and I were meant to be!
This is in response to Monday Morning Melts hosted by Jade and Rosema. The first song lyrics prompt is actually one of my favorites – If You’re Not The one by Daniel Bedingfield. Hopefully my poem says it all!

Hi there, people! Time for our ‘Weekly Quotes To Ponder‘ moment. This is actually a feature here in my blog where we can reflect about a quote and share our thoughts about it. Happiness is doubled when shared with others, right?
The quote above is one of my favorites. When I first encountered it, it answered some of my questions about how others treat us and made me understand human nature in an intimate sense. Most of the times, if not always, we tend to accuse others of things that we are doing without even being aware of it. We even blame others for our failures and unhappiness. Looking for a escape goat is but normal in this cruel world. There’s also a wisdom hidden in this quote that I was able to grasp – self realization and self value. If we really know ourselves and understands our importance in this life, we won’t allow others to define who we are.
“A beast in human’s clothing understands better than anyone how people want to be treated.” – Kurapika
How about you? What are your thoughts about this? I would be delighted if you’d share it with the rest of the world. God bless!
“If you want to get to know someone, find out what makes them angry.” – Gon Freecss
Time to reminisce what transpired last month! As usual, I am so excited to share it to the world. I always look forward to this blogging event called My Monthly Memories hosted by a pretty blogger, Basant She.
October indeed have been good to me. I’ve finally gave rest in contemplating with what could have been and stopped beating up myself for my failures. I decided to live in the present and do whatever I can to make the most of every moment that God is giving me. Hoping you would agree that there’s good things out of every mess that we encounter in this life.
I love those random memories
that makes me smile no matter what’s going on
in my life right now…
By the way, I would like to share one of my favorite TANKA poetry entitled, Pissed. Ever since it was introduced by a friend blogger, Kiwinana of Ramblings of a Writer I can’t help but partake for I really enjoyed the challenge and find it relaxing to unleash the poet in me. You may also want to check my Three Line Tales which is also a poetry challenge I partake every Thursday hosted by Sonya of Only 100 Words. I always find pleasure in writing and reading brief tales out of fascinating and intriguing photo prompts.
I can’t help but wonder how fast paced the world revolves around us. Two more months and year 2016 is over. Truly, time won’t wait for us. It is up to us to keep up and make every second, every tick of the clock, and every breath we take worthy. Tomorrow is not promised and yesterday is gone. What we have is today and we should make the most of it. And yet, we still need to look forward to the future, cling to the hopes inside us, and hold firm to our faith in order to survive. May we all find peace every day in the midst of all the struggles and difficulties.
Saying HELLO November! Be good and be mild please. Cheers!
