Sweet Reveries

I know not a feel of gloom
Nor have heard of word like doom
Filled with sweet reveries
A face that radiates pleasantries

The care free life
Without an inch of strife
Laughter that makes me cry
Always bring sparkle in my eyes

And in the hours of wee
We both enjoy our company
Playing games like hide and seek
Praying we’d always be like this

The innocence of a child
Makes milder world no matter wild
Teaching others to be kind
Beauty in mundane things not blind

If I only have a day
And could go back past, I’d pray
To stay at age six and play
Salvage every moment I am gay
