My Last Song Syndrome

Remnants of our past
Makes my heart beat so fast
It never run out of tune
Though its fate is sudden doom

How could it be a lullaby
When tears always blind my eyes
Everytime we say goodbye
I die a million times

Now I’m left with just a note
Engraved in my heart a quote
Reverberating in my head
I had you once in my bed

Though I know we’ll never be
I locked my heart and threw the key
My ever last song syndrome
Your loving arms, my comfort zone
