Three Day Quote Challenge 3

At last! I’m on my third day of this ‘Three Day Quote Challenge’. I felt a sense of fulfillment upon seeing likes and comments from people who stumbled upon my posts. I’m glad Olivia S. invited me to join this challenge. Here’s for the last day:

Patience is not
the ability to wait,
but the ability to keep
a good attitude while waiting

What is patience? Basically, patience is waiting with difficulties. It’s confidence in yourself, with a good feeling of hope. It takes place during some difficult circumstances.

When a person says to himself calming words such as “it’s going to be ok”, “every thing will be alright”, “I know that it will get better soon” or even a prayer will help you to be patient. It’s convincing yourself with soothing and assuring remarks, where you can wait for results with ease. Written by Khadiga Ismail.

We are all aware that being patient is not an easy task. It takes a lot of guts, discipline, and attitude to have it. I used to believe that as long as we can wait for something we can be called a patient person. But as time goes by and I became an adult, I realized that patience is more than that, it is actually a good attitude while waiting. One can wait for something and yet whine or feel bad while in the process, another person could choose to look at the bigger picture, look forward positively while waiting. The latter is a kind of attitude that is reflected when a person is patient. So next time we are triggered to feel impatient with something, we should remind ourselves that there’s time for everything and God is always in perfect timing.
